How do I clear a namelist?

I'd like to do this "easily" in rest. It does not seem like there is an easy way to iterate what is in a namelist. Thus it would be extremely difficult to use rest to delete individual items. I'd like to be able to clear a namelist in one command.

    I am confirming the solution discussed this morning. A http delete at the "http://host:8080/ws/namelists/namelist" level will clear the namelist. I see the REST API documentation reflects this behavior.
